Why I Became a Health Coach
I lived with gut issues for years; gas, nausea, cramping, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, food sensitivities, distention, inflammation, to name a few. I was terrified of food because everytime I ate, I had no idea whether I would feel okay afterwards or if it would follow with debilitating pain, distention, or even vomiting. Water did the same thing to me. I was walking around with extreme fatigue, broken out skin with zits that caused sores, anxiety up the wazoo, and self conscious of my body because my stomach was distended from inflammation and bloating. Oh and the infamous debilitating periods.
I was checked for tons of diagnoses and always told “oh it's just IBS, you’re fine.”
Spoiler alert: I was not fine.
After spending thousands of dollars on specialist visits, blood work, invasive procedures, medications, diet after diet, I was ready for REAL answers. I wanted someone who understood what I was going through and who would actually listen.
With the help of a functional medicine doctor and a health coach, I finally was experiencing symptom relief. I finally was given answers as to why I was sick and the solution to healing my body. Thanks to a sustainable and enjoyable lifestyle switch, I am now living my life pain free and with confidence.
That’s why I became a health coach. I left my special education teacher career and have dedicated my life to helping others find healing too. It’s freeing! To feel good, confident, pain free, comfortable in your own body is completely and 100% freeing AND possible! This is my purpose; to help others experience the same healing and freedom I found.

As a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I teach my clients how to heal their gut. I do this through targeted mindset work, nutrition focus, and the establishment of daily self care practices and fitness routines.
My clients discover the power to heal their bodies in order to live a life free from pain and discomfort. With a focus on nutrition and gut health, my clients find sustainable lifestyle habits and a way of eating that allows them to move from surviving to thriving.
